Full Duplex data link

Designed for use on an interceptor development program, the above system provides for a full duplex data link. A conventional S-Band telemetry downlink is supported by a S-Band receiver integrated into the base station system, while a command uplink in the UHF region is provided to allow for command uplink to the airborne vehicle while in flight. Up to a 2 Watt transmitter can be co-located with the UHF receiver in the round airborne package, while operating off of as low as 8 Vdc.
In addition to the S-Band receiver, the basestation incorporates a UHF uplink transmitter and supporting power supply conditioning circuitry.
Qualification tests on the airborne assembly have proven the design at rotational speeds of up to 15,000 RPM.

nnovations is proud to partner with a well known antenna supplier on the this program, providing a full system solution to the customer.

MRM Transmitter
Designed for use on the MRM program. This is a 1 Watt low profile transmitter operating off of Low operating voltage in a 2.25 cubic inch package. The units shown above are production units through burn-in, final test and ready for shipment to the end user. Units have since flown successfully on several "shots" experiencing over 7,000 g's of "setback" shock and survived to provide data after impact with the ground. Microwave Innovations is proud to be a partner on this program.

T401/T402 Transmitter. 1 or 2 Watts low profile package. Low operating voltage.
T400 Series
Intended primarily for Military markets, Microwave Innovations has provided the above low profile style transmitter in support of various cost conscious programs. In support of the ever-increasing need for smaller, lighter and more rugged Video and Telemetry transmitters, Microwave Innovations has designed a 2.5 cubic inch 2 watt transmitter. In addition to the small size of the unit, other valuable features include Low Voltage operation (down to 8 VDC or lower) with extremely high overall efficiency and very rugged construction.
While not required of all applications, the unit is constructed using proprietary techniques developed for Ballistic Vehicle environments with the result being a unit with shock survival capability in environments exposed to greater than 35,000g's. Ultimately, these techniques yield high reliability in typical relatively benign environments of most users.
Low production costs make this a viable transmitter solution for all video and telemetry applications.

5 Watt and 10 Watt versions
Increased RF output levels of 5 Watt and 10 Watts are available in a higher profile package of either transmitter shown above. The photo above shows a configuration where the "upper" section MRM transmitter acts a driver and is stacked atop the lower level power amplifier section. Call for specifics.

icrowave Innovations announces the production of telemetry transmitters in support of the Raytheon XM-982 Program development.Microwave Innovations was pleased to be selected as the supplier of choice for the development of this critical component of the Telemetry package being used in the evaluation of the key weapon in the ever advancing arsenal of weapon systems. In this application, the telemetry transmitter will provide information critical to the engineers during the design process of the weapon.
The unique form factor transmitter was designed specifically to support this program's requirements. All engineering and development was performed in accordance with demanding schedule and technical constraints. Close coordination and regular contact with other parties involved in the system design helped to insure the success of the overall system effort.
Successful proven design techniques in addition to proprietary methods resulted in an extremely rugged robust design that has been successfully screened to the programs ultra-high shock levels.
These techniques and methods are applied to all of Microwave Innovations products with the result being high reliability in any environment.
Microwave Innovations can easily support your high shock requirements with these baseline designs that are easily reconfigured to support your unique specific program.
T155
Microwave Innovations announces the production of telemetry transmitters for replacement of existing T155 transmitters from other telemetry equipment manufacturers.
The success track record continues and grows. As on other programs, and as described above, Microwave Innovations has again demonstrated the ability to provide short turn around designs, and in this case in support of existing on-going programs.
Microwave Innovations was pleased to be selected as the supplier of choice for the development of this critical component of the Telemetry package.
This industry common form factor transmitter was designed specifically as a high quality drop-in replacement for other manufactures products while offering enhanced features for programming of the center frequency, extended voltage range of operation and higher RF power output. All engineering and development was performed in accordance with demanding schedule and technical constraints. Close coordination and regular contact with key customer contacts involved in the system design helped to insure the success of the overall system effort.
Successful proven design techniques in addition to proprietary methods resulted in an extremely rugged robust design that has been successfully screened and qualified to the programs rigorous environmental requirements.
These techniques and methods are applied to all of Microwave Innovations products with the result being high reliability in any environment.
Microwave Innovations can easily support your high shock requirements with these baseline designs that are easily reconfigured to support your unique program specific requirements.

Ultra low power micro-miniature Command Receiver
Command Receiver
Microwave Innovations announces the development of an ultra-miniature command receiver. This product is intended for use on ballistic programs for low data rate command and control functions. Shown here, a portion of the circuitry is mounted on a test fixture where it was evaluated to levels in excess of 36,000 g's.
This custom product can easily be integrated into other electronics yielding a "System" which can be remotely controlled to perform specific functions.

"Heat Round" Assembly. Ultra High Shock System Assembly.
System Assembly/Build to print
Microwave Innovations can support almost any type of custom assembly/design or testing requirements. The above system is a common telemetry package which is partially "build to print", and partially an in-house custom design.
Quick reaction time and thorough attention to all portions of the design process yield a product which can be delivered on schedule, successfully integrated, deployed and tested with success the first time.
100% success is the only acceptable outcome of any effort with Microwave Innovations.
